C. Eric Lincoln Lecture Series Collection
This 35th annual lecture features selections from the Clark Atlanta University Choir and Clark Atlanta Philharmonic Society. They sing selections from the Black National Anthem to original compositions created by C. Eric Lincoln, titled for the program, “The Performed Word: Music and the Black Church.” Presenters include Dr. Phillip Dunston, Dr. Danielle K. Taylor, Dr. Rico Chapman, and Dr. Curtis Everett Powell.
The Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library acknowledges the generous support of the National Endowment for Humanities - Humanities Collections and Reference Resources Implementation Project Grant in supporting the processing and digitization of a number of its major archival collections as part of the project: Spreading the Word: Expanding Access to African American Religious Archival Collections at the Atlanta University Center Robert W.
