2000-2009
The study was designed to examine the impact of high definition training on teacher perceptions of the principals leadership, parent support, and student improvement. A review of the literature supports the critical role the principal plays in influencing learning and the total climate of a school. Effective schools research consistently identifies the principals leadership as being key to effective schooling. The research design is a quasi-experimental design. The instrument used in the study was a teacher questionnaire. Questionnaires were administered to a total of 64 elementary school teachers. An item-to-scale correlation using the Cronbach Alpha Coefficient Method was used to validate the validity and reliability of the instrument. The reliability was .85 and above for each item. The following are the findings of this study.
