[The Spiritual Mind] (audio)
Bishop J. Howard Dell Collection
Recording begins with a recording of a war radio hour talking about troops in Korea. Audio then cuts to Dell saying a prayer for the troubled and the congregation singing. He reads about Jesus rising from the dead, reciting Isaiah 55:8-9, relating to how carnal minded people cannot instruct the spiritual mind. He talks about Peter, James, and John going to the mountain and how they had the spiritual mind to communicate with God, and that we must surrender ourselves to God. Audio cuts to Dell talking about Hiroshima. Audio then cuts to a man introducing Dell, followed by the chorus sings “How I Got Over”. Audio cuts to man talking to the audience about the sick congregation coming to get healed, followed by other general announcements and singing. He then talks about various businesses in Atlanta that are available to them and that people should buy their own home and stop renting to better their families. Audio then becomes inaudible.
