Bishop J. Howard Dell Collection
This recording begins with Bishop Leroy Anderson talking about being poor in spirit. He also talks about saints getting too happy. He then talks about thorns and thistles on the way to heaven. He also talks about Jesse Jackson running for president. The recording cuts off after Bishop Anderson’s Climatic ending and Bishop Dell’s invitation. Recording returns with Bishop Dell introducing Bishop Leroy Anderson as a member of the COGIC general board. He also recognizes him as the Jurisdictional bishop of the first Jurisdiction of Western New York. Bishop Anderson makes remarks after Bishop Dell’s introduction and reads from Revelations 2:9-10. He then titles his sermon “The Reward of the Faithful.” In this sermon he talks about doing what is right and life not being easy.
