[Church Dedication] (audio)
Dedication Separation of Churches
Bishop J. Howard Dell Collection
This recording features a church dedication program. It begins with the reading of Galatians 3, and a man states what has been done here has been done by faith, and introduces the program for the day. After a hymn, a man reads 1 Kings 8 followed by a call and response prayer. A woman recognizes people who come from different churches in the area, amid songs and other members presenting warm greetings. Dell introduces 2 Chronicles 6, and about the beginning of building a church and all the people who contributed through time. Lastly, he discusses what the building represents and the function of the church building, followed by the dedication prayer and singing.
