[Look to the Lord] (audio)
Bishop J. Howard Dell Collection
A speaker introduces Dell’s official assignment in the convocation of the COGIC in south Atlanta. Choir music then plays with fiery preaching over the congregation with additional gospel music with a man reading a bible passage. Dell then discusses the book of Revelations and the background of its origin. He then talks about how people don’t take the Lord’s Day seriously and how John wouldn’t do that – he would pray. He emphasizes that people should know their place like John and how people shouldn’t be so easily shaken from their religious duties. A call and response session then begins will Dell preaching about John and looking up to the Lord, ignoring the hypocrites and focusing on holiness.
