[God’s Ways Are Not Your Ways] (audio)
Regular Church Service
Bishop J. Howard Dell Collection
This recording opens with singing and prayer. Dell talks about how the human mind could not have thought without God, as God said “my thoughts are not your thoughts”. He reinforces the idea that God thinks on a higher level than humanity, and though people can be influenced by money and power, God cannot. Additionally he says that no matter what- rich-poor, educated-not educated, that man must seek God’s council because he can’t make it himself. This leads into a call and response about how people should worry about their ways but not God’s, because he has his own ways. Prayer and singing end the service.
