[God is What You Need] (audio)
First Service After Passing Of Mrs. Dell
Bishop J. Howard Dell Collection
This recording opens with the singing of songs, including “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”. Dell’s son John opens with prayer about blessing the people who recognize God and prays for people who have not found God yet, followed by more singing including “Have You Tried Jesus”. Dell then talks about worshiping God and how God has what we need. He reads the passage of Luke 2:8, and how Jesus knows of our struggles. He further talks about the devil and the war in Vietnam.
