This recording is of Dell telling his autobiography starting in 1925. He talks about his aunt who ran a boarding house and his uncle who owned a home with horses. He talks of coming to Dublin, Georgia to look for a home in 1925. He talks about his wife, son, and daughter coming to stay with him and talks about the birth of his daughter, Helen. He talks about becoming an insurance salesman for Georgia Mutual, and how these early times had struggle because they were poor. He talks about preaching at various churches and receiving offerings at these places. He further talks about various church members that he worked and prayed with.
