[Filled with the Spirit] (audio)
Rev. Cleveland's Serman
Bishop J. Howard Dell Collection
Recording opens with a man and the congregation enthusiastically singing “The Last Mile of the Way” and other songs. He then delivers a sermon about a man who lost his mind because he was scared of the devil, and that we shouldn’t be scared because God is stronger than evil. Talks about his wife plagued with heart troubles, but she was saved. He reads Ephesians 5:18 and talks about being filled with the spirit, and how God fills us with the spirit of love. He leads multiple call and response interactions with the congregation. Recording ends with congregation singing “I need thee every hour”.
