Thompson, Rosie Mae
1970-1979
The primary intent of this thesis is to obtain objectively collected data on the attitudes of graduate students concerning compulsory reading, thereby providing an evaluation of the values of compulsory testing and reading classes at Atlanta University. An attempt has also been made to draw implications from the data for future program planning. The data collected for this study were obtained from a questionnaire specifically designed to elicit graduate students' opinions concerning the significance and effectiveness of compulsory instruction in reading at the graduate level.
