Abstract

In this recording from the David Roberts’ Oral History Interviews, dated June 28, 1973, Roberts speaks to Dr. Thomas Flanagan. Flanagan speaks frankly about his childhood in Lumpkin, GA, racism and segregation in the early 20th century. Flanagan also discusses The Atlanta Independent, Georgia politics and the justice system.
