A Great Time to be Alive" and "Why is God Silent While Evil Rages?
Interdenominational Theological Center Audio Visual Collection
This audio recording contains two sermons delivered by Dr. Harry Emerson Fosdick on April 11, 1943 and October 10, 1943, respectively. Dr. Fosdick argues that the failure of Christians is the mistreatment of one another and doing nothing actively to change the world. He also discusses how war is the essence of anti-Christ and creates more problems than it solves. Throughout his sermon he also references many historical events and locations.
